It's a myth that eating a diet without meat means you have to regularly sub in tofu, seitan, tempeh, etc. Those items can be expensive and many people don't want the gluten or soy found in those products. You also don't have to sit and eat beans and lentils everyday either. There are plenty of vegetables packed full of protein to add diversity to a plant-based diet.
I personally don't care for the "fake meat" products like tofu bacon, soy burgers, etc. So when pursuing a diet with no meat, I was excited to stumble upon high protein veggies like broccoli, spinach, asparagus, artichoke and peas.
