We're a week into our 21 Day Water Challenge with our members. We are challenging them to drink 80-100oz of water each day (depending on their weight). Each member has different goals that they're hoping to see as a result of fully hydrating their bodies.
Some people are hoping for clearer skin and weight loss. Some are hoping to feel more refreshed and energized while others are hoping to not feel thirsty all the time. There are so many benefits to drinking water and staying fully hydrated.
Here are just a few other benefits to drinking more water.
1. Weight loss. Water can help suppress your appetite and keep you full. If you're trying to lose some weight, drink a glass of water before each meal. That will keep you from overeating. Staying fully hydrated also prevents fluid retention in your body.
2. Exercise. If you're dehydrated, you won't be able to perform at your best during a workout. We can lose a lot of our bodily fluids from sweat when we're doing an intense workout. Staying hydrated keeps your joints moving well and keeps your energy levels up so you're able to perform at your best.
