Safety and health are always on the forefront of our minds and during this water challenge we have advised all of our members to pace themselves and listen to their bodies. Overhydration, though rare and unlikely in this scenario, is still a possibility and something we all should be aware of.
Since we are drinking 80-100 oz of water each day, one very important thing is that we pace ourselves and drink regularly throughout the day instead of a lot at one time. Over drinking in one sitting can hurt your kidneys and cause you to have to go to the bathroom before your body has a chance to enjoy the benefits of the water. Slow and steady is the way to go, drinking less quantities more often throughout the day.
