Join us for a water challenge in August

BAREfit members! Join us for something new and different this August. Instead of a nutritional reset we are going to offer up a water challenge. It's free and optional and we hope you'll all consider participating!

Depending on your weight, you'll drink 80-100 ounces of water each day. We'll also be implementing some fasting after 9pm (liquids allowed) as an additional way to help you feel and look your best!

Hydration is key when working out and this will be a fun way for us to grow together. We'll have a private accountability group on Facebook and Mary Margaret will be checking in with daily encouragement and resources. She's done one of these challenges before and had a great experience.

We encourage everyone who chooses to participate to take a before and after photo (you don't have to share it) to help you see the results from filling your body with lots of water!

Total Health Challenge

The Total Health Challenge is an interactive fitness program starting October 31 at BAREfit Adventure Training.

The goals are to boost your metabolism, build superhero strength and feel health+awesome.

The program includes a fun point system and social support to help you get the best results possible in 21 days.

Also, there’s no stress about wondering “what to do” – we break everything down into simple daily practices that are perfect for any age, skill level, or body type.

The Total Health Challenge is open to anyone in the Louisville area! If you're not already a member of BAREfit Adventure Training, this challenge is a great way for you to try our program for 21 days!

Earn Your Kentucky Common Challenge

On Sunday April 26, BAREfit partnered with Yelp on a special Derby Earn Your Beer Challenge!

The Kentucky Derby is decadent and depraved, as a Louisville fellow once wrote. So we did our bodies some good by working out with BAREfit -- and then rewarded ourselves with Kentucky Common beer from Bluegrass Brewing Co. because ... well ... it's Derby time and why not.

We closed Second Street at Washington Street, under the Second Street Bridge, for this special workout, and then we enjoyed a Kentucky Common, the type of beer featured at the upcoming Derby City BrewFest.

Donations from the event went to Saving Sunny, a Louisville nonprofit that advocates for the equal treatment and social justice for pit bull terrier dogs.

Read some reviews and check out photos from that day!
