BAREfit Grand Opening and Wellness Fair

Mark your calendars for May 23!

Join us for BAREfit's Grand Opening event! We're celebrating our new location on Logan Street! As part of our grand opening we're hosting a wellness fair with a variety of great like-minded local businesses, vendors and non-profits including: homeopathic health by local herbalist Linda Lee, essential oil education by Heather Brandt, The Louisville Vegetarian Initiative, Honest Home, Derby City Rollergirls, 750four Productions, Elemental Climbing and more!

We'll be taking donations that day for Scarlet's Bakery - a new business opening up in Shelby Park through Scarlet Hope, an organization that works to minster to women in Louisville's sex industry.  Representatives from the bakery will be on site during the Grand Opening with some of their baked goods!

Dawn Michelle Waddell, a local massage therapist, will be set up outside doing free massages!

V Grits, Louisville Tube Station and the Weekly Juicery will be there to offer great refreshments. We'll also have live music and beer!

Throughout the day we'll be hosting Earn Your Beer Challenges at 12, 2 and 4; where anyone can attend a free workout with us and then afterwards we drink beer together and get to know one another.

Our building neighbors Falls City Community Bikeworks will have a bicycle parking rack outside so you can ride your bikes over! You can also stop in and see their co-op bike workshop!

BAREfit moved into our Logan Street location in August of 2014 and have been working hard to renovate it into a unique fitness center. This grand opening is your chance to check us out and see all of our hard work!

Earn Your Beer Challenge at the Flea Off Market

Louisville's favorite WORKout Challenge + beer drinking extravaganza is back for 2015!

BAREfit Personal Training presents the Earn Your Beer Challenge at the Flea Off Market.

Join us on March 14 at 11AM and 2PM for two free outdoor workouts. We'll have our re-purposed equipment on site for a fun workout!

These workouts are free and anyone is welcome!

1007 E. Jefferson St (at Fresh Start Grower's Supply)

About BAREfit: BAREfit is a holistic fitness company in Louisville anchored in a love for adventure sports. This workout will feature all re-purposed equipment and is sure to be a fun time! After the workout, we'll enjoy some beer together, and some awesome venders at the Flea Off Market!

About the Flea Off Market: The March Flea Off Market is on Sat. March 14th & Sun March 15th at Fresh Start Growers Supply. We will have over 100 vendors offering a multitude of hand-made items including musical instruments, jewelry, clothing, accessories, soaps, terrariums, and a variety of local fine arts and crafts. Also featured will be farm-fresh goods, vintage clothing, records, books, antiques, curiosities, and tons of cool used stuff, not to mention great music, tarot readings, firepits an all kind of esoterica.

The Flea Off Market will also have restaurants and food trucks focusing on locally sourced ingredients accompanied by seasonal beers and cocktails. The “buy local”/”keep it weird” ethic is going strong in Louisville and especially at The Flea Off Market: Louisville’s best place for shopping, eating & drinking,or just hanging out.
