Morgan Tyler

Morgan is a Louisville native of 20 years and found the fascinating world of yoga after finishing many years of competitive swimming. 

She loves being upside down anywhere and everywhere, snuggling her animals, and sipping on a good cup of English breakfast tea. 

Her hope with yoga is to break down the stereotype that this practice is only for certain bodies, and encourage people to get on their mats no matter where they are at in life.

Toni Lynette Cristy

Toni is a Chicago native. Her 2,000 mile bicycle tour was reduced to 300 miles by a still ongoing layover in Louisville, Kentucky.

An outpouring of love from the Louisville yoga community, friends, and family encouraged her to not let money be a factor in yoga teacher training. Kentucky Yoga Initiative saw her dedication and awarded her a partial scholarship.

All that love encouraged her to become a community activist and leader. She's now a Power Yoga Teacher graduate, serving multiple community classes, kids classes, chair classes, and private sessions.

Bekah is a Louisville local. Loves adventuring outdoors, kayaking, and Sunergos Coffee. Favorite style is power flow. One key component of her practice is mindfulness because of the way it lets us live our best lives in the bodies that we have been given.

Vinyasa Flow

Focus on paring breath with movement. This class uses a whole body flow working on all of different muscle groups to create a deep internal burn that will leave you feeling motivated to tackle the rest of your day.

Rachel Fitzpatrick

Rachel attended her first journey into power yoga class at the Tim Faulkner Gallery in April 2015 through Kentucky Yoga Initiative. The power of community struck her core. The more she practiced, the more she fell in love with yoga and everything it defines for mind, body and spirit. When she realized yoga was a tool to help her "level up" on and off my mat, she immediately knew she needed to share it. Rachel graduated from yoga teacher training in March 2018 as a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher. She also completed the 20 hour certified course to teach High Intensity Interval Training mixed with Yoga. In her own words: “For me, teaching yoga means bringing together community with breath, sweat and movement; but doing yoga means getting outside my comfort zone so I can make space for something new.”

When she’s not at the studio or pushing my limits at BAREfit, you can find her at any live music show, outdoor volleyball, kickball, or chilling in my hammock with my favorite pup.   

HIIT Yoga

A little bit of Power Yoga followed by a little bit of High Intensity Interval Training, ending with some Power Yoga makes the perfect Yoga sandwich. HIIT Yoga is designed for total body integrity through flexibility, mindfulness, speed, power, endurance, coordination, and determination. 

20 minutes of Power Yoga, 25 minutes of HIIT, 15 minutes of Power Yoga, cool down into savasana. HIIT Yoga is for all levels, for you work at your own speed, and meet yourself where you're at. The goal is quality over quantity.
